Primary system administration activities for Softdial Contact Center™ are conducted using the Softdial Control Center management console. It is installed as part of the process of installing Softdial Contact Center™ on the server.
Softdial Control Center runs on startup and is accessible via the system tray icon
. If there are any administrative alerts that require your attention, this icon will flash and a warning sound will be played.

The Softdial Control Center menu (Fig. 1) provides access to the following facilities:

| Service Status | Monitoring and start/ stop control of all SCC services. See Service Status. |
| View Event Log | Opens a window showing all SCC events |
| View Campaign Status | Monitoring headline statistics of open campaigns and agents. See Campaign Status Viewer |
| Softdial Message Lookup | Gives fast access to the meaning of any SDMP error code. See Error Messages |
| View License Information | Shows status and serial number of the current SCC license. See License Information |
| Options | Global dialing and administration options. See Options. |
| View System ID | System ID for this instance of Softdial Contact Center™. This will be required when installing Softdial Telephony Gateway™ (STG) |
| Exit | Exits the Control Center and removes it from the system tray. To restart, use the Start menu |
